Tomatoes Cherry on the vine

On the vine cherry tomatoes are uniform in color and size, with a high sugar to acid ratio. Sold attached to their stems, they will continue to ripen in storage. Each tomato is round and red with a sweet tomato flavor.

On the vine cherry tomatoes are best used in applications that highlight their natural sweetness. An ideal garnish for appetizer platters, added to stir-fries or roasting whole on the vine. These tomatoes are perfect in fresh sauces when paired with garlic, summer vegetables and dried Mediterranean herbs.
